Are Jasleen Matharu and Anup Jalota in a PLATONIC relationship?

Much has been said about singer Jasleen Matharu and her mentor Anup Jalota’s presence on India’s topmost reality show Bigg Boss. The last two days have seen them trending on Twitter, with loads of memes dedicated to the BB12 couple all over social media.

While it has been projected by host Salman Khan, Jasleen as well as Jalota as a relationship with romantic overtures, Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar has posted something quite contrary to that on his social media.

Anupji is a dude of dudes. But I have a feeling that Jasleen and the Bhajan Samrat’s relationship is platonic. #BiggBoss12 #BB12

— Dale Bhagwagar (@DaleBhagwagar) September 19, 2018

“Anupji is a dude of dudes. But I have a feeling that Jasleen and the Bhajan Samrat’s relationship is platonic. #BiggBoss12 #BB12,” he wrote on his Twitter. For the uninitiated, a ‘platonic relationship’ is defined as one that is purely spiritual and not physical.

Dale has handled PR for some of the biggest names in Bollywood, including Hrithik RoshanShilpa Shetty and Priyanka Chopra. But not many are aware that long ago, the publicist also handled the media for Jalota, something he has always proudly announced on his website.

When it comes to Bigg Boss, Dale’s ‘feelings’ on various topics have always come true! Wonder if the Bollywood PR specialist could be right about this one too! Only time will tell.

Bigg Boss SENSATIONAL: Battle lines drawn as season 12 makes a roaring start

Bigg Boss SENSATIONAL: Battle lines drawn as season 12 makes a roaring start

Wednesday, September 19, 2018 12:25 ISTBy Santa Banta News NetworkEven as Bigg Boss 12 completes its first 48 hours, the seventeen housemates — Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, Karanvir Bohra, Nehha Pendse, SreeSanth, Shrishty Rode, Jasleen Matharu and Anup Jalota, Kriti Verma and Roshmi Banik, Nirmal Singh and Romil Choudhary, Somi Khan and Saba Khan, Sourabh Patel and Shivashish Mishra, Urvashi Vani and Deepak Thakur — are already at loggerheads.

Megastar host Salman Khan may be happily boggled that the contestants made up of five singles and six jodis (pairs) have brought down the house with their infighting, bitching, crying and back-biting, apart from beginning to create lobbying for friends and forging new friendships.

“Bigg Boss is not just another brand. It’s Indian television’s biggest and best reality firebrand. If anyone was expecting anything less from the show, I’d say the person was in delusional fairyland,” smirks Bollywood’s only PR guru Dale Bhagwagar, who has handled the media for celebrities such as Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and films like Don and Rock On!!

“If you mark minutely, most of the BB12 contestants have very defined personalities with varied nuances to their characterizations. The distinctive differences in their nature would soon create a psychological minefield, which would trap them in their own images,” he analyses.

Apart from being the top Bollywood publicist, Dale is considered by the press as an authority on Bigg Boss. Having handled the publicity for a full 20 contestants who have been on the show, he is also the guy who spearheaded the media hype for Shilpa Shetty during her iconic win on Celebrity Big Brother in the United Kingdom.

But the Mumbai-based publicist feels there is a slight drawback in Bigg Boss Season 12. Dale points out, “Almost 13 of the 17 contestants are strong and can hold on their own, which is a very high percentage to have right at the start. However, I feel that the chemistry which was expected out of the jodis, is almost missing.”

The Bigg Boss specialist adds that this ‘missing chemistry’ element between the pairs may not change soon. “But as equations shift, there will be new pairs of friends and frenemies, and these can well make up for the loss of chemistry which we may feel now. Plus, eventually, since there has to be one winner, the Boss may be forced to break up the pairs anyway.” Oh yes, amidst all the hype about jodis, we never thought about that!

Bigg Boss 12 may bring more dramatic value to the firebrand show

Bigg Boss is the undisputed No 1 reality show on Indian television. But some BB fans are said to have found the new promo of Bigg Boss Season 12, a little weird. Highlighting the concept of jodis (pairs) for BB12, megastar Salman Khan is seen playing a school teacher, replete with his typical bizarre antics; like riding himself on a foot-ruler under his crotch… eww.

However, Bollywood’s only PR guru Dale Bhagwagar, who has handled the publicity and crisis management for a full 20 contestants of Bigg Boss points out, “It’s not really odd to have Salman doing awkward antics. In fact, that adds to his dabangg, bindaas, bad-ass brand, which he knows how to play to the hilt.” True that!

So all those who found the BB12 promo somewhat crude “need to take heart,” says the Bollywood publicist. “I’m pretty sure, things will only get more interesting from here and add to the dramatic value of the firebrand that the show is. After all, we are talking about the House of Scandal,” he winks.

Dale has also sourced and posted a little video of some of the past Salman Khan promos of Bigg Boss on his Twitter to prove his point.

Found something interesting on YouTube just now. Bigg Boss promos from past seasons featuring the inimitable Salman Khan. Check ’em out… https://t.co/wrVkafwOKP @BiggBoss#BiggBoss12 #BB12

“Found something interesting on YouTube just now. Bigg Boss promos from past seasons featuring the inimitable Salman Khan. Check ’em out… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWS3iiVWd8Q … @BiggBoss #BiggBoss12 #BB12,” wrote the public relations specialist from Mumbai.

The video, with promos right from BB4 to BB12, tracks an interesting journey indeed. Let’s hope Bigg Boss12 turns out to be as interesting and controversial as always.

Normally, Bigg Boss begins in the first week of October every year. However, if reliable sources are to be believed, this season, India’s number one reality show will begin earlier.

Bollywood’s only PR guru Dale Bhagwagar, who has handled the media for some of the reality show’s best and most controversial contestants like Rakhi SawantRahul MahajanPooja MisrraAman VermaDiana HaydenAshmit PatelAmar UpadhyaySherlyn ChopraAarya BabbarSonali Raut and Mandana Karimi, has tweeted that he feels, this year the BB12 showing may be preponed by a fortnight.

I have a feeling Bigg Boss 12 would make an early start this year, beating it’s normal October first week timing by a fortnight or so.

— Dale Bhagwagar (@DaleBhagwagar) July 20, 2018

“I have a feeling Bigg Boss 12 would make an early start this year, beating it’s normal October first week timing by a fortnight or so,” tweeted the celebrity publicist, whose PR agency has also handled the publicity for some of the best Bollywood stars such as Hrithik RoshanShilpa ShettyPriyanka Chopra and movies like the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don and Farhan Akhtar starrer Rock On!!

The Bollywood publicist is well-known for his correct ‘feelings’ about matters of the entertainment industry. So going by his post, we are best expecting BB12 to begin around September 16, probably with participants from major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.

The anticipation for Bigg Boss is pretty high this year too, specially as it introduces the concept of jodis (pairs) as housemates. Which means, we may see participants getting in two-by-two; somewhat like girlfriends-boyfriends jodis, married couples, live-in relationship couples, brothers and sisters, friends, or even transgender or gay and lesbian couples — Bigg Boss is full of surprises, so we never know

Meanwhile, megastar host Salman Khan can have a consolidation of sorts, since his film Race 3 has done roaring business at the box-office, inspite of the media panning it. So now, all eyes on Bigg Boss Season 12.

Arbaaz Khan’s IPL betting case results in a DAMP SQUIB

As appeared on Vantage Point

http://myvantagepoint.in/arbaaz-khans-ipl-betting-case-results-in-a-damp-squib/

Actor-director-producer Arbaaz Khan got into national spotlight this week with the Anti-Extortion Cell (AEC) of Thane Crime Branchsummoning him over betting in Indian Premiere League (IPL) cricket matches.

Arbaaz Khan IPL Betting Case

When Arbaaz confessed to the police that he had placed IPL bets, there was a huge uproar in the media. Discussions in the mainstream media followed heated debates among Arbaaz’s megastar brother Salman Khan fans and haters on social media. Meanwhile, rumours stating that Arbaaz’s relationship with Salman was soured, only added fuel to fire — though Arbaaz was seen being escorted by Salman’s bodyguard Shera when he went for the questioning.

The Media

However, it seems that the media jumped the gun in favour of scandal. Just as it often happens in Salman’s cases, the media was too eager to pan the actor’s brother. Latest reports reveal that though Arbaaz admitted to placing bets, he claimed that no monies exchanged hands with the betting bookie in question. Resultantly, the actor will not be booked by the police.

An AEC official was reported to have said, “We are yet to take a call on Arbaaz’s statement, but as there was no exchange of money, he can be a good witness for us. As per the Gambling Act, we can’t make him an accused as he never paid anything, nor took any money.”

The View

We asked Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar about the media’s eagerness to grill and pronounce actors guilty. He said, in this matter, both the parties were only doing their job.

“While Arbaaz proved to be a dutiful citizen, the vibrant media proved to be on their toes with reporting. The good part is, the truth came out fast, without Arbaaz being persecuted with trial-by-media and without the issue and speculations being dragged for long,” remarked the Bollywood publicist.

After launching Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM cards, yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali has launched a new messaging application called Kimbho. It seems to be aimed at giving competition to the most popular messaging app WhatsApp owned by Facebook.

At the launch, Patanjali mentioned that the Kimbho App is already available for downloads at Google Play Store.

“After Reliance Jio giving competition to foreign companies in India, another techno revolution is on the cards from this week, says PR guru Dale Bhagwagar. “WhatsApp has been downloaded by more than a billion people on Google Play Store. Whether Kimbho can come anywhere near to that humongous figure, remains to be seen,” adds the communication and networking public relations expert.

Kimbho is a Sanskrit word, meaning “How are you?” or “What’s new?” The app’s logo shows a seashell with a green-coloured round chat design around it; similar to WhatsApp. Kimbho’s tagline is ‘Ab Bharat Bolega’.

As per his post senior film journalist Chaitanya Padukone had a accidental fall from a elevated stage in a vacant space.

The press conference was held in Film City, Mumbai. Padukone has been injured badly, and was bleeding and suffered deep wounds on his right knee. Padukone was later rushed to a hospital near by.

Chaitnaya had to undergo operation and had doctors had to give him multiple surgical stitches. Currently he has been discharged from the hospital and is gradually recovering.

WHOA: Paltan poster has striking resemblance to Platoon and Band of Brothers!

We have long known that Bollywood’s only PR guru has what many call eagle’s eyes. He spots things the common man cant… and knows stuff the aam aadmi doesn’t.

Once again the publicity maverick has come up with a shocker! This week, Dale posted a collage with the poster of J.P.Dutta’s much-anticipated Bollywood film Paltan, along with posters of Hollywood blockbusters Platoon and Band of Brothers on his Twitter. And we can’t help but stare at the similarities.

The posters have a grunge look. Both Paltan and Platoon posters have dog tags (the little metal plates with soldier names). And all the three have soldiers in silhouette (in the shadow, with light from the back) on a hilltop, with dark clouds forming the backdrop.

But when we contacted Dale, he wasn’t  amused at the plagiarism. Instead he said, “it’s happens”  and “shouldn’t be made an issue of.”

“Let’s not make a big deal out of it. Everything a human being thinks, says and does is nothing but a culmination of thoughts and ideas he has acquired over time. Originality is nothing but inspired innovation,” he remarked.

However Dale mentioned that the Paltan poster does seem to have a different kind of flaw. “The dog tags shown in it are of the shape worn by militaries abroad; mainly the US Army. To my knowledge, Indian Army personnel wear round-shaped dog tags around the neck and oval ones around the wrist,” pointed out the public relations expert.

Whoa! How does this PR guy get to know all these things! He probably manages to break more Bollywood stories on his social media than any contemporary entertainment journalist might do in mainstream media. Lol. And he does it so innocently. True blue journalism; PR style!!

This Twitter post on Avengers: Infinity War cracked us up!

Much has been written about Avengers: Infinity War from the last few weeks. From the trailers we all knew that the new super-villain Thanos wanted to destroy half the universe. We knew that he’d swat away superheroes like flies on his dessert.

So hardly anything can come as a surprise now, we thought. Until Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar posted this on his Twitter. “Since Thanos is supposed to have finished off half the universe… now, as usual, it’s time to spend a few days marking ourselves ‘safe’ on Facebook,” he wrote.

https://twitter.com/DaleBhagwagar/status/990157202584428544

Dale’s crazy thought combined with a dollop of sarcasm about the amount of time we spend on Facebook, not only cracked us up, but got us thinking too.

The public relations specialist often gives us some of the news first on his social media. Like even before the official release of the new Avengers movie, the Bollywood publicist’s FB post read: “RIP Loki, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Groot, Doctor Strange. But don’t think we are so stupid that we do not know that you all will come back. Ganda hai par dhanda hai ye. (It’s dirty business, but its business)”

Avengers - Infinty War. Pic 2 (Image Courtesy - Internet)

We were sad hearing our favourite superheroes are gonna die, but Dale’s post sure confirmed our suspicions (and hope) that they would soon return. How? Dale hasn’t posted that! Not yet! Lol.

Diana Hayden still doesn’t know WHY Tripura CM Biplab Deb targeted her!

Miss World 1997 Diana Hayden “still doesn’t know why she was singled out and targeted” by Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb last week, says Bollywood publicist Dale Bhagwagar. The CM attacked her “out-of-the-blue and a full twenty years after she won the title. One can’t help but wonder if there was any PR agenda behind it,” added the public relations man.

Dale who handled the media for Diana earlier was the first person to stand up for her and react after the CM’s barbs. “When I read about what was said, I could not hold back. I spoke up and tried to get in touch with Diana. When I spoke to her, the first question she asked me was why this was happening after all these years.” That question still remains and it seems like only Biplab Deb can answer it.

Deb first has created a media storm when he claimed that the internet existed in India during Mahabharata era. And even before the hoopla died, he attacked Diana Hayden saying that the beauty pageant winner does not represent Indian beauty; Aishwarya Rai does. He went on to say, “Indian beauty is all about Goddess LaxmiGoddess Saraswati. Diana Hayden does not fit to that class of beauty.”

When Diana reacted to his outbursts, Deb had to eat his words. Dale points out that the beauty queen “handled the controversy most graciously, intelligently countering the CM in the media.” This, along with public outrage, compelled him to regret his comments and give an apology to news channels within 24 hours.

BREAKING NEWS: After Tripura CM’s attack, Miss World Diana Hayden finds an unlikely defender

Soon after Tripura’s new Chief Minister Biplab Deb launched a scathing attack on Miss World 1997 Diana Hayden, her ex-publicist Dale Bhagwagar has come to her defense. Dale counters Deb on Diana saying, “I am not in touch with Diana from a few years, but I bet she is way too much smarter than how the Tripura CM wants to portray her.”

A few days ago, Biplab Deb had claimed there were internet and satellite communication systems in Mahabharata era, with his comment causing much debate on Twitter as well as national media.

This week, the CM launched an intense attack on the fashion designing and cosmetic industry and taunted women who have won international beauty pageants. “In all of Tripura, I see so many beauty parlours. It’s an industry, it’s a business,” he remarked.

Speaking at a public event, Deb singled out Diana saying, “Even Diana Hayden got it (the world title). See, everyone is laughing. Tell me, was Diana Hayden supposed to get it?”

A file picture of Diana Hayden at a charity event. Pic 1

Aishwarya Rai got it. That’s justified, because she carries the essence of the beauty of Indian women. Indian beauty is all about Goddess Laxmi, Goddess Saraswati. Diana Hayden does not fit to that class of beauty,” Deb stated.

Bollywood PR Dale Bhagwagar who has worked with Diana for a long time promptly reacted saying, “I don’t know why Mr Deb is suddenly targeting Diana, but what he is stating, lacks merit. Diana is a complete new-age woman — smart, caring, intelligent, intellectual, well-read, attractive and beautiful. She has a magnetic charm and warmth in her personality.”

“After being crowned Miss World, she has actually gone and done real charity work for years together, something many pageant winners only speak about during their crown-seeking days,” he added.

It can be noted here that Dale has handled the PR for maximum number of title holders, including names such as Diana Hayden (Miss World 1997), Nikita Anand(Miss India Universe 2003), Pooja Batra (Miss India International 1993), Priya Gill(Miss India International 1995) and Priyanka Chopra (Miss World 2000).

Brand Hitler killed Hitler, says Bollywood publicist Dale Bhagwagar

As appeared in ReputationToday.in

Courtesy: http://reputationtoday.in/views/brand-hitler-killed-hitler/

There is a strong controversial theory about Adolf Hitler having escaped from Germany after the Second World War. Delving into the Führer’s mind from a PR perspective, Bollywood publicist Dale Bhagwagar, concludes why an ESCAPE for Hitler was IMPOSSIBLE.

Many alleged that after the complete defeat and ruin of his Third Reich (Third Empire of Germany), Adolf Hitler escaped from his bunker and went on to live in hiding in Argentina till a very old age. There have been various articles and documentaries describing his escape and life after the war. Many have claimed to have spotted him at various places around the world, giving strength to the notion that he had managed to slyly evade the Americans, British and Russians.

Reality over fake news

However, I have been in the profession of spin for more than two decades now, and having studied about the war and Hitler, I can say with utmost certainty that the Führer (meaning, the leader in German) NEVER ESCAPED. The historical version of his suicide is most correct. He ended his life with his mistress-turned-wife-for-the-last-day Eva Braun and their bodies, as per his instructions, were immediately destroyed by being burned.

Hitler’s propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels’ publicity machine had been so strong and effective over the years, that it was impossible for Hitler not to live up to that image. Even Goebbels killed himself for the same brand of National Socialism he had deftly helped to create. And with himself, Goebbels took the life of his wife Magda in a suicide-pact, along with six of his children put to death in their sleep.

Truth hurts

Still, you may ask why a power-broker like Hitler would never think about escaping. Good question. Like many journalists say, the when, what, where and how are not as important as the why, here are four strong reasons why he would do what he did.

1) Because Hitler could not imagine life without his adaptation of National Socialism that he had so painstakingly propagated and advocated for 25 years.

2) Because after the war, Hitler could not be safe anywhere in the world, and that included conquered Germany.

3) Because Hitler was way too scared of meeting the fate of Benito Mussolini who was killed and lynched in Italy towards the end of the war. He also had a fear psychosis that he would be strung up naked or paraded through Moscow in a cage by the Russians.

4) And last but not the least, Hitler was too egoistic to run away.

In a situation like that, in his mind, fleeing would have been akin to dying each day he lived. From his point of view, death would have been the quicker, safer and only dignified option. At the time of defeat, from Hitler’s perspective, life after war would be humiliation, while death would mean leaving with self-respect.

Peeping into the Führer’s psyche

And why would he think so negatively about living on? One has to put oneself in his position to imagine what ‘escaping’ would have meant to the Führer.

14 years of political struggle and strife … a near-death experience during First World War … being imprisoned after a failed coup for power … managing to return to politics and getting elected and then assuming dictatorship … 12 years of absolute power … crazy God-like adulation from his people and from various parts of the world … fanatic influence over minds and hearts … multiple failed attempts on his life before and during power … victory after victory in the Second World War — the world’s greatest war … emerging a contemporary conqueror akin to an Alexander or Genghis Khan … world domination almost in his grasp… AND THEN… a humiliating defeat.

Seeking glory even in downfall

For a man who even refused to leave his headquarters — his Reich Chancellery in Berlin — during the last months of the war, running out of Germany was never a thought. He was the Führer, and for him, the Captain never left a sinking ship. He would go down with it. In the eyes of a helpless Captain, that’s the honourable path and his hope for glory.

And this is why I say for sure that all the rumours about him running away to a safe haven were spread either by the victors (mainly Russia’s Joseph Stalin), the gossip-hungry media and a few paranoid people from various countries.

The brand’s new beginning

In conclusion, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that Hitler’s larger-than-life perception and brand took his life. His branding was so magnificently magnanimous, that it was impossible for him to ‘live with defeat’. Come to think of it, this guru of branding was trapped by his own ‘propaganda’ — the word that finally evolved into what we now know as ‘public relations.’

Ending his time, ironically gave his brand a new beginning. It was the turn of the victors to brand him stronger and for longer. After WW2, he came to be known as the biggest ‘monster’ the world had ever witnessed. He is the ‘greatest villain’ in history. The Allies (countries united during the war) and his favourite muse (the Jews) made sure they highlighted atrocities of his regime, as a result of which Hitler is remembered as nothing less than ‘the face of evil.’

Look who’s back

To this day, that fear sells… and how! Just look at the box-office figures of Rogue One, the movie from the Star Wars series, and you’ll realise the world’s ingloriously glorious charm with everything Hitler.
