Selection process and job description

Dale Bhagwagar Media Group’s Unpaid Virtual Internship in Content Writing is based on work-from-home projects, assigned mainly to students studying Journalism, Content Writing and/or Public Relations.

Our Virtual Internship in PR and Content Writing, featured on the Asian News International (ANI) website.

Please note that our Virtual Internship has an entry barrier on who we choose to train — because time and energy are resources. There is an Entry Test the applicant must take. Only if we are satisfied with the entry test response, will the applicant be accepted for our two-month Virtual Internship in Content Writing.

The Entry Test will involve content generation of two news articles on topics commissioned by us. The articles will be scrutinised for writing quality, news value, expressiveness, formation of sentences, grammar, copy editing and meeting the deadline of article submission. If the two news articles meet our expectations, we will accept the applicant as a Virtual Intern.

Period of the online internship

The period of the online work-from-home internship is two months, which is essential for understanding content strategy, journalistic styles and ethics, spin techniques, methods of news writing, formation of content, news angles and news writing formats.


As a Virtual Intern, the applicant will be expected to stay in touch over the phone and on WhatsApp each day for two months and generate two news articles everyday for 60 days, including weekends.

In case, the daily articles prepared by the Intern meet the journalistic standards of national news websites, we may speak to select websites and get some of them published along with the Intern’s bylines, a thumbnail picture and a short introduction about the author.

These articles and bylines may be extremely beneficial as reference links for students and freshers, when seeking a job in mass media professions such as Journalism, PR or Content Writing in future. Interns get personal career guidance from Dale Bhagwagar.

Completion mandatory

The Letter of Appreciation will carry details about the performance during the online internship. If for any reason whatsoever, we deem fit to discontinue the applicant’s internship midway, we reserve the right to do so. Copyright for all submitted content will belong to Dale Bhagwagar Media Group.

Successful completion of the Virtual Internship is mandatory for the Certificate and Letter of Appreciation. In case the applicant is unable to complete the two-month period of tasks, we will not be able to provide a Certificate or a Letter of Appreciation.

In case of failure in completion, or termination of the internship, we have a practice of intimating the respective news websites having carried the Intern’s articles and bylines. In such a case, we will not be responsible for continuation of publication of the Intern’s past articles / bylines on the news websites.
