Growth has come in leaps and bounds since Dale Bhagwagar (डेल भगवागर) started out in the media line as a freelance journalist, contributing articles to local newspapers and magazines in his hometown in Central India. Soon, he joined a local newspaper as trainee sub-editor and reporter, and grew to being a Desk Incharge, handling several broadsheet pages and tabloid supplements on the City, Business and Features Desk.
But it was actors and cinema that he really loved writing about. Graduating in English Literature, his fascination for entertainment journalism saw him move to Mumbai. He joined the popular Cine Blitz magazine as chief sub-editor and reporter, and set his pace when he managed to bag an exclusive interview with megastar Amitabh Bachchan on his second day on the job.

More interviews, scoops, stories, scandals and investigative newsbreaks followed. And as his confidence swelled, Dale decided to quit his full-time job, to freelance for various national publications like The Indian Express, The Asian Age, DNA, Screen, Showtime, Moviemag International and the iconic Blitz tabloid, among others.
In 1997, a premier event management agency faced a last-minute crisis situation in the promotion of a huge event they were to organize for the Indian Navy on the decommissioned aircraft carrier INS Vikrant. At this point, they approached Dale to see if he could be of any help for the promotions. He decided to give it a shot and thus signed his first contract as a publicist, simultaneously launching his PR agency Dale Bhagwagar Media Group. There’s been no looking-back for him since.

Now, as a leading celebrity PR consultant in Bollywood, Dale has been quoted in every prominent newspaper and television channel in India, as also in various international media outlets such as BBC World, BBC Radio, Sky News, Channel 4, The Times, The Guardian, The Independent, The Mail, Daily Mail, Mirror and Marie Claire (in UK); CNN, Voice of America, The New York Times, The Washington Post (US); The Sydney Morning Herald (Australia); International Herald Tribune (France); and Pravda (Russia) among many others. As a matter of fact, he has been quoted in as many as 30 countries, which places him amongst the ranks of the most talked-about and extensively-quoted film publicists in the world. So much so, that if one happens to Google his name, the search engine returns thousands of results.
