“Doodh ka doodh, paani ka paani ho gaya. Aarya Babbar stands vindicated in Bigg Boss,” celebrated the actor’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar, as Aarya echoed his defensive words from the last two days, on India’s No. 1 reality show.

With the clarification coming in the form of an outburst against Minissha Lamba, Aarya freed himself from Minissha’s serious allegations that he tried to plot a “romance” with her for Bigg Boss. When Minissha had accused Aarya, Dale was quick to point out in the outside world, that it was not  Aarya, but Minissha, who had actually planned to plot.

“Aarya had told me that Minissha was desperately trying to meet and discuss Bigg Boss with him before entering. Even though I was also in touch with Minissha regarding PR, I reminded Aarya that BB rules do not permit a connect between speculated contestants before the show,” said the Bollywood PR specialist.

He added, “I advised him to maintain a strict distance with Minissha till he entered the House. Aarya completely understood and agreed to it. However, he told me, Minissha kept calling and messaging him.”

When Dale was asked about the couple’s intimacy, he admitted, “They had a thing for each other in the past”. Now, Aarya has himself revealed on the show that he has earlier been with Minissha for six to seven months. This was during the time they worked together in the popular Punjabi film Heer & Hero.

Two days ago, in a private discussion with Deepshikha, behind Aarya’s back, Minissha instead, turned things around and put the ‘plotting’ allegation on Aarya.

Yesterday, one of Dale’s earlier PR-clients Hrithik Roshan visited the Bigg Boss House, to celebrate the success of Bang Bang with the Housemates. When he casually asked Minissha, who she felt was the “Thali ka baingan” (fickle-minded person) of the House, she took Aarya’s name.

Aarya could not tolerate this anymore. As Hrithik left, he agitatedly confided in Karishma Tanna how Minissha had kept calling and messaging him before the show rolled, even while he was shooting in high-altitude Ladakh for Bangistan, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.

Aarya Babbar had no time for Minissha Lamba before Bigg Boss!

Following Minissha Lamba’s allegation that Aarya Babbar wanted to plan and plot a fake romance with her on Bigg Boss before they entered, Aarya’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar has vehemently denied her claims.

Dale goes on to inform, “Before entering Bigg Boss, Aarya was shooting in Poland for Bangistan produced by Ritesh Wadhwani and Farhan Akhtar. After that, he went to participate in another schedule of the movie in Ladakh. When he returned to Mumbai two days before the reality show rolled, he went shopping for some new clothes and accessories to wear in Bigg Boss.”

“Then, just a day before entering the House, he rushed to an early morning 6am shift to complete some of his remaining portions for Bangistan. Next day, he started packing his two red bags at 3am before he left for the Bigg Boss House in Lonavla. Where did he have the time to plan and plot with Minissha?”

“By the time I first met Aarya, the names of both the Bollywood actors were speculated by the media. In fact, I was already in touch with six to seven people, including Minissha, who later entered the show,” informs the PR specialist.

“Aarya told me, Minissha was desperately calling and messaging him to discuss Bigg Boss. But I reminded him that Bigg Boss rules do not permit a connect between probable contestants and he completely understood and agreed,” reveals Dale.

“Aarya and Minissha have worked together in the popular Punjabi film Heer & Hero and have shared an intimate bond in the past. So it would have been emotionally troubling for him to ignore her messages.”

Minissha Lamba’s Bigg bluff about Aarya Babbar EXPOSED

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss, Housemate Minissha Lamba shocked everyone, when she told Deepshikha Nagpal that Aarya Babbar tried to plan and plot a fake romance with her before entering the reality show.

Minissha narrated, “Aarya called me and said, I want to win the show under any circumstances” and that she should fake a “romance” with him. Minissha stated that Aarya wanted to call her “jaan” on the show and hold her hand. She told Deepshikha, “I refused him saying, I am in a relationship with someone and can’t afford to lose my respect for the sake of TRPs.”

Well, it seems Minissha is bluffing Bigg Boss as well as the public about this. Aarya’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar has revealed that when Aarya’s name began to be speculated by the media before the show rolled, Minissha, who has worked with Aarya in the popular Punjabi movie Heer & Hero, was trying to meet and discuss Bigg Boss with him.

Dale informs, “Aarya had told me that Minissha was desperately messaging as well as calling him and asking him to meet. I immediately reminded him that as per the rules of Bigg Boss, speculated contestants cannot connect with each other before the show. Aarya is an extremely responsible person, so he understood and totally agreed. But he told me, inspite of him ignoring, Minissha was calling him.”

Now Minissha has gone ahead and said exactly the opposite on the show, “Her claims that Aarya wanted to plan or plot with her to win, are preposterous,” Dale remarks in defense of his PR client. “Of course, like every contestant, Aarya wants to win the show, but his upbringing is not of the cheating types. On the contrary, he is a man of ethics and fair play, and we all have been witnessing that side of him in Bigg Boss too.”

Maybe, Minissha realizes that if she tries to bluff in front of Aarya, she would stand exposed by him. That is why, she would have chosen to narrate her version behind his back. “When Aarya comes out, he may be able to show phone call records and messages to the media. Doodh ka doodh, paani ka paani ho jaayega,” says Dale.

Ok, so Minissha may be playing a game with Aarya. But why? “They had a thing for each other in the past,” quips Dale. OMG :-O Is there a Bigger story here?

Karishma Tanna and Aarya Babbar dance their blues away

After facing a rap from host Salman Khan in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss this week, a riveting dance performance with gusto, may have come as a breather to Housemates Karishma Tanna and Aarya Babbar.

In the latest episode of the reality show, they seemed to dance their blues away with other contestants, swaying to the superhit Sallu bhai number Mera Hi Jalwa from Wanted.

Aarya and Karishma, who have a brother-sister bond in the show, have developed a common dislike for the new emerging couple of Gautam Gulati and Sonali Raut. Earlier, Gautam was cornered by almost everyone in the House, after he uttered derogatory words for Karishma during a game-task in the show.

Later, Aarya pulled up Gautam in front of all the contestants alleging that he was playing double. “You (Gautam) have been singing a song for one girl (his ex ‘close’ friend Diandra Soares) and then singing the same song for another girl (Sonali) the next day,” Aarya pointed out, asking him to stop playing with emotions and respect women. But Sonali Raut did not take kindly to Aarya’s comments and rebuked him, stating he was objectifying her.

“Diplomacy is not Aarya’s forte and there are times in Bigg Boss when Housemates come across instances when they are torn between gauging a situation and taking a stand,” says Aarya’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar, who incidentally, also happens to handle the media for Sonali Raut.

Then, isn’t this a clash of his own two clients in Bigg Boss 8. “It is,” admits the Bollywood PR specialist. “But rather than a clash between people, I see it as a clash of their perceptions.”

“Aarya and Sonali are individuals with different mindsets, thought-processes and personalities,” Dale explains. “By taking a stand, Aarya has shown he cares for women and would not hesitate to express his beliefs. By asserting her point of view, Sonali’s stance has revealed, she is a woman of substance. At the end of it, both are contenders in the House of Scandal.”

After Deepika Padukone, Bigg Boss contestant Sonali Raut disrespected in print

Close on the heels of the controversy about Deepika Padukone feeling disrespected for being objectified and commodified by a section of the media; here comes another shocker! In the garb of disseminating information, a film director has termed an actress as “100% useless” in print.

With a news report in a leading tabloid of Mumbai, regional film director S.K.Basheed has claimed that Bigg Boss 8 contestant Sonali Raut (of Himesh Reshamiya’s The Xpose fame) hiked her price last minute to avoid being part of his feature film.

The said report states, the actress “abandoned” the Kannada film director’s Bollywood debut flick titled ‘100% Useless Fellows’ for the reality show hosted by Salman Khan, just days before the film was set to roll. It quotes Basheed saying, “Sonali is 100% useless.” (sic)

The report further states that Basheed has taken the matter to Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA), with the director threatening, “They now need to inform the broadcasters to evict her from the show (Bigg Boss).” (sic)

Refuting the report, Sonali Raut’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar clarifies, “Sonali respects Mr Basheed and shares a cordial relationship with him. And a lady needs to be respected in return,” he remarks.

The PR specialist also blames the media for irresponsible reporting. “Journalistic ethics demand that the media should cross-check for facts before publishing, and refrain from using such headlines, as terming a lady 100% useless,” notes Bhagwagar.

Sonali Raut was not Ajit Chandila’s replacement in Bigg Boss

Recently, it was reported in a section of the media, that in a last minute change, Bollywood actress Sonali Raut replaced cricketer Ajit Chandila in Bigg Boss.

According to the report, Chandila was dropped as his name came up in the infamous match fixing scandal that rocked Indian Premier League, Season 6.

But Sonali’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar has denied the rumours that she was a last-minute replacement for the cricketer. “Sonali was a clear choice; not a replacement. She was finalized for Bigg Boss more than a month before the season rolled,” Dale has clarified.

Apparently, after being approached, Sonali was even wondering whether she should participate in Bigg Boss or not. “That’s true,” admits Dale. He explains, “Sonali has just made her Bollywood debut as a heroine in Himesh Reshamiya’s The Xpose which turned out to be a success. So she was in two minds when the Bigg Boss offer came, immediately after the debut movie.”

The actress had a couple of film offers after The Xpose, but had not begun shooting for new projects. “Sonali loves challenges and Salman Khan. She checked with me if she should do Bigg Boss or not, and I counter asked, why not?”

When the public relations expert asked Sonali what would make her agree to Bigg Boss, she promptly told him, how much she loved Salman Khan. After that, it wasn’t so difficult for her to make up her mind.

Diandra, Karishma, Minissha target Sonali Raut on Day 1 in Bigg Boss

India’s biggest reality show Bigg Boss hosted by Bollywood megastar Salman Khan, took a zabardast take-off on Sunday with the aircraft theme. As the show progressed, three members deputed by Bigg Boss and called the Secret Society (nicknamed SS), took charge of the contestants on Day 1.

But when the SS asked for some straight answers, the audience was shocked to find that three of the contestants harboured negative feelings for their co-passenger Sonali Raut; heroine from the film The Xpose.

Diandra Soares termed Sonali ‘the most fake contestant’, but answered in the negative when asked whether she (Diandra) had ever done anything illegal in life.

When Karishma Tanna was asked to speculate who she felt she may have an altercation with in the future, she took Sonali and Minissha’s name. In an answer to another question, Karishma said, she felt, Sonali did not like her.

Minissha Lamba had made friends with Sonali, but when the SS asked her to name a contestant with ‘the maximum negative attitude’, she too, took Sonali’s name. Though Minissha clarified that maybe, Sonali has not been openly interacting with everyone out of initial shyness. She said, that it should not be mistaken for an attitude problem, as one cannot judge a person by staying together just for a day.

All this, while the Raut girl looked calm and composed. “Sonali has a very loving and friendly personality, but she does take time to open up to new people,” explains her publicist Dale Bhagwagar. “Sonali is a mixed bag. She is fun-loving and spunky, but also a no-nonsense person. She is easy-going, but full of values and integrity,” he adds.

Now, now! Going by the current situation in Bigg Boss, if what Dale says is true, we may soon have a lot of drama unfold around this girl.

The Xpose slap controversy was a ‘publicity stunt’, reveals Sonali Raut

When Himesh Reshammiya’s The Xpose released this year, much ado was made about a spat between its heroines Sonali Raut and Zoya Afroz.

Rumour mills were abuzz about Zoya having a huge tiff with Sonali on the sets of Kapil Sharma’s television show Comedy Nights with Kapil; and having slapped her in front of the entire production unit.

Turns out, we were all fooled. “All that hype and hoopla was ‘engineered’ by the makers to prop up the movie. It was a publicity stunt,” reveals Sonali Raut. Shocking!

She explains, “We all know there was a slap scene in the movie as part of the story.  Actually, that was all. It never happened in real life. There was no tiff on the sets of the TV show and no slap.”

Sonali may have unwittingly exposed The Xpose episode to scrutiny, but when asked about Himesh, she only praises him. “Himesh Reshammiya is actually unstoppable. Isn’t that magnificent? He keeps coming back.”

The film is blockbuster, having broken records at the box-office last year and Evelyn is on cloud nine, marking YJHD as her second hit movie after Rohan Sippy’s Nautanki Saala opposite Ayushman Khurrana only a few weeks earlier!

Image

Currently the 23-year-old half-German half-Indian supermodel-turned-actress is busy promoting her next film, T-Series’  Yaariyan, where she will be romancing Humse Hai Life teen heart-throb Himansh Kohli. She plays an angelic dream girl and will be seen donning a bikini for the first time in the sexy beach song Sunny Sunny with superstar Yo Yo Honey Singh for this fresh college movie, which happens to be the directorial debut of Super Cassettes icon Bhushan Kumar’s enterprising wife Divya Khosla Kumar.

Image

The two hit movies old actress will celebrate Yaariyan as her fifth release in one year on January 10, 2014 and has already been signed for more projects such as David Dhawan’s multi-starrer Main Tera Hero with Varun Dhawan, Anupam Kher, Illeana D’Cruz and more; as well as Neeraj Pathak’s Bhaiyyaji Superhit with Sunny Deol and opposite Arshad Warsi.

Image

Taking a strong stand in the Bollywood industry and shooting straight into the Times of India’s Most Desirable List, Evelyn has fast emerged a sought-after fashion icon for events, brands and designers. The names go from designers Nishka Lulla, Rocky S, Falguni & Shane Peacock and Wendell Rodricks to rock bands like Euphoria and jewelry brands like Gehna who have longed for the beauty to be their muse. Besides her endorsements such as Parachute Advansed, Biba, Anandam World City or innerwear brand Bodycare Creations, the rising star was recently signed as the new face for Blenders Pride, and is seen opposite Priyanka Chopra on the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour hoardings.

Image

As if this isn’t enough, Evelyn is also actively involved in supporting various causes, such as children charities, animal rescue, clean environment and breast cancer awareness. In her spare time, the multifaceted actress makes music, loves dancing and trains in kickboxing. So you see, this girl literally kicks ass! Lol.

Itsy bitsy teenie weenie, Evelyn shines in pink bikini!

Critical reviews not withstanding, Evelyn Sharma has got on to a roaring start this year with Divya Khosla Kumar’s Yaariyan. Her pink-bikini number Sunny Sunny with Yo Yo Singh is a rage at discotheques and parties. Of course, the actress is elated.

 Image

The song is a blockbuster in India, but Evelyn couldn’t believe her ears, when she had a fan drool over her on the streets of Germany. On a visit to her hometown, the half-German half-Indian Evelyn sparkled with a broad smile, when a chap on the road started trailing her and singing her Yaariyan number Sunny Sunny.

 Image

While she blushed and walked away, she regrets not chatting with him. “He would surely have been a Bollywood-loving NRI since he was singing fluently in Hindi,” she says with a twinkle still in her eyes. “It was out of the blue and totally flattering.”

 Image

Moreover, Evelyn realized how big a hit the number has emerged with teens. “I get a high as I see its zooming popularity,” she admits.

Last year, the actress made a mark with key roles in hits like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Ranbir Kapoor and Nautanki Saala with Ayushmann Khurrana. Then a month ago, she hit fashion headlines with a sensuous short film called In Frost on the Fashion TV website.

 Image

Recently, Evelyn also found herself in the midst of a political controversy after she performed for the Saifai Mahotsav festival in Etawah district, Uttar Pradesh. The presence of political heavyweights like Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son, chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, just a few days after the Muzaffarnagar riots in the state, compounded the situation.

 Image

It drew sharp reactions from other politicos including the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) state president Laxmikant Bajpai, Congress vice-president and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati, as the actress waited it out helplessly.
